MOD 1:
REMOVE THE BLUE BARS FROM THE TOP AND BOTTOM OF THE COCKPIT SCREEN by jyqureshi (modified by Specter): CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

Makes the blue bars on the top and bottom of the screen transparent.  It also makes the map fit the full screen.  Semi-transparent grey bars are added to the to and bottom of the screen.  Also the white text has a black outline.

MOD 2: UPDATED 5/26/2008 - NEW VERSION

Greatly improves the full screen view.  It adds they grey bar to the top and bottom of the screen and uses the white text with black outline.  It also adds the ETA information to the left hand side.  the top number is the TIME TO DESTINATION in minutes, below it is the DISTANCE TO DESTINATION in miles or km and below that is the ESTIMATED TIME OF ARRIVAL.  The top bar shows the next street you will be turning onto.  On the bottom bar it show the current street.  It also shows the house numbers to the left and right of the street.  In the picture below it shows that house 419 is on the right.  In this case there is no house numbers on the left (but it will show them when there are).  Also, the grey bar at the top and the ETA information box will not be on the screen when you are not being routed somewhere.

MOD 3:
REMOVE LARGER TURN ICON by SPECTER: CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

This mod will allow you to remove the large turn arrow from the display.  When you touch the turn icon it will disappear.  It will reappear again after you go to the menu functions or touch the screen and wait a couple of seconds.  You can always remove it by touching it again.  NOTE:  if you are using the EFM (Enhanced Fullscreen Mod), part of the update will add the small turn icon and distance to maneuver to the title bar (as seen in the upper left corner of the screen).

MOD 4:
ALLOW SWITCHING FROM NEXT STREET TO CURRENT STREET by SPECTER:  CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

When you press the street name it will switch from showing the next street to the name of the street you are driving on.  Also when you are not being routed, you can press it to display the current street you are driving on.  Before this mod, it would switch back to the next street after 2 seconds.  Also this mod shows the current street in a different color, so you know which street is being displayed.

Makes the font size a little smaller so longer street names will display without scrolling.

QUICK MENU AND ROUTE INFO BUTTONS by ACCEPT97: CLICK HERE FOR DETAILS

This mod adds two new buttons when you touch the map.  They are the quick menu and a button to take you to the route information screen.  This is a very useful mod.  Click on the Details for screen shots of the quick menu in action.  It brings several important commands to your desktop.  You can use the jogwheel or the touch screen to navigate the menu.  It is a great way to avoid a road on your route when traffic backs up (Avoid option).
